December is a great month for whale watching off southern California. Giant Blue whales and Finback whales are still possible while Gray whales are on their migration, and ever possible Humpbck whales and an even killer whales make this month one of the best for viewing so many differnet species of whales. Giant Risso dolphin, Bottlenose dolphin, and Common Dolphin add to the diversity.
