My room was clean, and quiet, and provided all the amenities I could want during my stay. Staff was great, professional and accommodating. I look forward to going back soon.

This was our first stay at West Inn & Suites and we were surprised at how "upscale" it felt though it was very affordably priced. The entire place was immaculate, and the desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and extremely quiet -- honestly the quietest hotel we've ever stayed in! The breakfast was a bit disappointing in flavor - fresh but much like bland cafeteria food. At least the coffee was good. We tried to fill up on cereal and fruit so that helped. I also would not recommend purchasing anything from the little gift shop unless you really have to. It cost us $30 for a couple of diet Cokes, a Cup a Noodles, and an ice cream! Despite these two issues, we would definitely consider staying here again. It's a beautiful place in a great location, and it's priced well. Oh, and the mattresses were super comfortable too!

Friendly staff. Great location close to beach and Carlsbad center. Easy to get around with close access to Coast highway. Nice running routes nearby. The breakfast is excellent with good options and the evening cookies are a nice touch. The on-site gym is pretty small and needs better maintenance.
