My daughter ran the half marathon last weekend and the kids ran the mile run through Legoland on Saturday. Staying at West Inn was a perfect way to have a mini family vacation. All the staff was friendly and helpful from the front desk, the breakfast staff, and housekeeping. The two king bed suite was roomy and comfortable for a family and the one king suite next door was perfect for me. The pool was warm and hot tub excellent. We never thought we would be swimming outside everyday of the 3 day weekend in January, but we all loved the pool. Breakfast, cookies at night, quiet rooms, comfortable beds, great location near the center of Carlsbad, Legoland, outlets, the beach, and lots of dining options. An excellent place to stay. Would highly recommend.

We picked the West Inn & Suites for its convenient location and shuttle service offered for the runners of the 2020 Carlsbad 1/2 Marathon. We are so happy we did! The property was very nice, clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our questions regarding the shuttle service with pick-up and drop-off just as easy as can be. The room was comfortable and the bathroom towels were some of the softest we've ever experienced! We will definitely be back next year!

First of all, I was very impressed with the personal phone call I received two days prior to my arrival to the hotel inquiring about any additional needs I may have. This was a nice touch. Upon checking in the team behind the desk was professional and so pleasant. Our room wasn’t ready and they were able to upgrade us to a suite that was available. Every team member we passed greeted us and asked if they could be of assistance to us. Every single person was exceptional! The room was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. We loved the cookies and milk in the evenings. They were delicious and provided a feeling of home. The breakfast buffet was a wonderful way to start our day! The selections varied daily and were hot and delicious! It was so nice to have “real food”, not just bagels or cereal. Again, the team at breakfast was so helpful and friendly. We LOVED our stay and want to thank you for the amazing hospitality!
